Offers and straight answers for the people who served.

Brave Veteran Deals connects veterans, service members and military families with offers on auto insurance, life insurance, debt relief, personal finance and home improvement. We explain the options in plain language, so you know what to look for before you ask for a quote.

What we cover

Five areas where military service often unlocks a better deal, and where the fine print is worth reading.

  • Auto insurance

Many insurers offer military or veteran discounts, and rates differ widely from state to state. Our guides show what a fair rate looks like in your state and how to compare quotes.

  • Life insurance

What happens when SGLI ends, how VGLI compares with private term policies, and which questions to answer before you commit.

  • Debt relief

Consolidation, settlement and credit counseling explained, which SCRA protections may still apply to you, and the warning signs of a bad program.

  • Personal finance

Budgeting after service, VA home loan basics, and how to use the benefits you already earned before paying for something new.

  • Home improvement

Roofing, windows, solar and bathroom projects, including contractors who offer veteran discounts and how to compare bids fairly.

How it works

  1. Pick a topic

Each guide covers one topic for one state: Texas auto insurance, Florida life insurance, and so on.

  2. Read what matters

A plain-language rundown of the discounts, eligibility rules and fine print, without the sales pitch.

  3. Get a quote if you want one

If an offer looks right, you can request a quote directly from the provider. Answer a few questions and they take it from there. No obligation.

Good to know

Ask before you assume

Plenty of companies never advertise a military discount but will grant one when you ask and show a VA ID, DD-214 or military ID.

Compare every year

Auto and home insurance rates are repriced annually. The policy that was cheapest for you two years ago often isn't the cheapest today.

Never pay upfront for debt relief

Federal rules bar debt-settlement companies selling by phone from charging fees before they settle a debt. Treat any request for advance payment as a red flag.

Check the license

Insurance agents, lenders and most contractors must be licensed in your state. A quick search on your state's licensing site takes two minutes and rules out most bad actors.
